My Maiden Voyage
I happened upon Blaze Brewing Company on a whim a few years ago. We were on an intense drive to the White Mountains in the heart of the leaf-peeping tourist season, Columbus Day weekend. Looking for a brewery, this Biddeford spot fit the bill. During Covid, and due to the construction of the tap room, only the outside was open. We saddled up under a tent with a flight of beers and two bbq brisket sandwiches. Our reaction: We need to go back!
Bring the fam
On the maiden voyage to Blaze Brewing Company, we toured the inside even though the taproom was under construction. On our latest visit, it was bumping. At the bar, I ordered a flight of beer for myself consisting of IPAs and sours and grabbed a sour for my wife.
We all had different menu items, from chicken wings to sandwiches. Each meal option was delicious. (The only negative aspect was the behavior of my middle son!) Blaze Brewing Company is an easy place to eat. Comfortable with truly excellent food. Their lineup of beers is diverse, ever-changing, and always tasty.
Blaze Brewing Company has some of Maine’s best BBQ and craft beers (what a combo!) and is located at the end of Pearl Street. This is right in the heart of the industrial heritage of Biddeford (think lots of cool mill buildings) but is also right in the heart of construction. (Look for the signs regarding parking.) Make sure to get there though, no matter the parking situation. Cheers!
