What to Try at Sweet Momma’s
Given the proximity of Sweet Momma’s to my parents’ house on East Town Street, I’ve been able to try a few of their delectable desserts, although I am not in town regularly. One specialty of theirs that I enjoyed very much is their carrot cake. The cake is moist with a sweet, but not cloying frosting.
Indulging in a piece of cheesecake at Sweet Momma’s is heavenly. Just as a cheesecake should be, this provides mouthful upon mouthful of flavor. A piece of chocolate cake also hits the spot. Another of my favorites is the tiramisu. Tiramisu may be my favorite dessert and theirs certainly ranks as an all-time fave. Each cupcake I tried was excellent too.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast is served at Sweet Momma’s, with breakfast sandwiches that look absolutely amazing. They also serve lunch items such as baked pasta dishes, mac and cheese, and biscuits. I have not tried any of their savory selection yet, but it sure looks good!
Walking into the shop, the display case will surely dazzle you, making it so difficult to choose which treats you want to bring home. Between cakes and cookies, whoopie pies and cupcakes, it’s hard not to leave with one of everything!
