Sometimes all you need is a cold beer and some greasy food at a place that looks like time forgot so it’s time to dive into South Shore dives

This month’s backyard road trip will take us for an October trip for pumpkins in Connecticut and eastern Massachusetts.

From nature walks to museums, these getaway dates in MA, CT and one in VT make the perfect one day getaway.

We’re taking a September trip for apples to our favorite orchards and cider mills in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont!

The Yellow Deli in Plymouth, MA serves excellent soups and sandwiches in an ornately rustic space downtown.

For our August trip for BBQ, we’re taking two stops for BBQ in Plymouth, MA; Bark BBQ and Proof 22, with a bonus round at Bear’s in CT.

The Cooperstown Distillery Beverage Exchange at Saratoga is a cocktail bar, retail shop and tasting room all in one.
