Black Raspberry Pub – Festive Holiday Plymouth Pub

Plymouth’s Black Raspberry Pub has always been a favorite restaurant of mine for many reasons. Their food never disappoints. Try a classic South Shore bar pizza, a huge California cobb salad, or any of their other excellent menu items. The vibe is relaxed, a great place to catch a game over a few beers with friends, but is also perfect for the whole family. This Christmas season though, the Black Raspberry Pub has taken it to a whole new level, ringing in the merry with decorations galore, and specialty cocktails making the Black Raz a must for December dining.

Where is the Black Raz?

Yummy festive cocktails

The Black Raspberry Pub is tucked away inside an old factory building at Cordage Park in North Plymouth. This was once the largest rope manufacturer in the world and now houses many businesses. Cordage Park is diverse, from professional offices to college classrooms, restaurants, and craft libation destinations. The Black Raz is located toward the back of the complex on the right-hand side. It’s not a place you’d just stumble upon.

Christmas Time is Here

Great for all ages!

You’ll be glad you did stumble into it though. Upon entering the restaurant from the hallway, the Christmas cheers turn up full blast. Over the bar area are hundreds of holiday ornaments hanging from the ceiling. Other parts of the room have been overtaken by Christmas decor as well. A large wreath adorns a wall. Christmas trees, twinkling lights, and red and green balloons bathe the Black Raspberry Pub in festive colors.

Holiday Fun

The holiday cheer extends past the decor and splashes down into their seasonal cocktail menu. I enjoyed my spicy Grinch margarita which was a shocking green hue. Other hot cocoa-based drinks were served in a gingerbread man mug with a tower of whipped cream on top. A seasonal mule looked delicious as well.

If You Go

And of course… the food including their excellent bar pizza.

For December, the Black Raspberry Pub is booking up fast but keep your eye out for a reservation. If not, try walking in and finding a stool at the bar. It is located at 36 Loring Boulevard, #111, inside Cordage Park.
